College Pursuit Program Symposium Set
On Tuesday, January 29th at 6:30 pm at they YMCA Auxiliary Room (main
building), Thoroughbreds Soccer Club will host the next installment of the
College Pursuit Program. This portion of the program is designed to assist
you in marketing yourself to college coaches in hopes of attracting their
interest and earn a college scholarship. All TSC players who wish to play
soccer in college, and their parents, are encouraged to attend.
Prior to the evening of the 29th, all of those who are attending the
symposium are encouraged to download the preliminary information to aid
in getting started. On the evening of the symposium, TSC players and their
families will have a chance for a Q & A with current and former college coaches
as well as the opportunity to meet one-on-one with General Manger, Dale
Helfrich, to review any information that you may already be working on, or
help you get started.
We hope to see you there!!!
Introduction
The Thoroughbreds Soccer Club demands that all of their players give 110% of their effort in training, games, and even when working on their own. Through that hard work, should come reward.
In return, the Thoroughbreds Soccer Club wants to do our part in helping these players get recognized and recruited for their efforts. That is why we are announcing our College Pursuit Program.
The College Pursuit Program is designed to help the players and families of Thoroughbreds Soccer Club members in researching and selecting their college or university as well as assisting in the marketing of that prospective student-athlete to those schools. We want to work closely with each of you to decide which schools have the best fit for all of our players academically, athletically, and socially as well.
Thoroughbreds Soccer Club’s General Manager, Dale Helfrich, has 12+ years of college coaching at various levels (NCAA Division I, II and NAIA) and knows the ins and outs of college recruiting. The network of friends and colleagues within the game at the next level that he has developed should serve as a great device for our players looking for opportunities to play college soccer.
As you will learn, there are many variables to choosing the right school that fits your needs and we are here to help!
